LDA Comments on ESEA bill
LDA has spent significant time discussing the major issues surfacing in the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA, currently known as No Child Left Behind). The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee Chairman, Lamar Alexander (R-TN), issued a draft bill which is expected to be acted on in the Committee in late February.
