What is an LDA Membership?
An LDA Membership is an annual subscription to extra resources and benefits, like our webinar archive and policy papers. Memberships allow us to continue our work in creating opportunities for success for individuals with LD through support, education, and advocacy.
Why Should I Sign up for an LDA Membership?
LDA is a member-based organization, and memberships go toward funding our programs and resources, supporting our state affiliates, and advocating for the rights of individuals with LD on the state and national levels.
There are also member benefits, which include discounts on our conferences, a subscription to our monthly e-newsletter, monthly policy update papers, and access to our webinar archive.
What do you mean by Student Membership?
Our student memberships are for full-time college students, to allow them to afford membership in LDA while juggling a full course load. Student members will be asked to upload both a student ID from their college, university or school as well as proof of full-time schedule.
How do I get a membership with my state affiliate?
All LDA Memberships include membership with your state affiliate. If there isn’t a current affiliate in your state, you can become a member of the next closest state.
How will I know when to renew my membership?
Your membership starts the day you sign up, and in a year it will need to be renewed on that same day. We’ll send you email reminders when your renewal date is coming up!
Are memberships refundable?
Memberships are not refundable and non-transferrable, although you can cancel your membership at any time.
*Please note, LDA does not accept purchase orders for membership dues.
LDA will never share or sell our membership information!
