St. Louis Learning Disabilities  Association, Inc. (St. Louis LDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated  to enhancing the understanding and acceptance of learning disabilities. Targeted solutions are developed for  children, parents, and professionals in order to help students maximize their potential in the classroom and in life.

Mission

Children need hope, understanding and compassion to learn and reach their full potential. St. Louis Learning Disabilities Association helps children by giving them the education and support necessary to be successful.

Vision

We continue to serve as the preeminent resource and service provider in the greater St. Louis region, assisting not only students who struggle with learning differences, but also their parents, teachers, school counselors, and doctors. To that end, we will continue to provide observation, consultation, and diagnostic testing services in order to help identify the best possible options and optimum learning opportunities for students to reach their potential.

    For decades a LDA legislative priority has been the full funding of IDEA. LDA wants to recognize and applaud Senators Van Hollen (D-MD) and Roberts (R-KS) and Representative Huffman (D-CA), Senate and House bill sponsors, as well as their co-sponsors, who have just introduced bipartisan bills to fully fund the IDEA (S. 866 and H.R. 1878).     LDA Condemns Fraud in College Admissions Testing Accommodations

    Pittsburgh, PA, March 12, 2019. Today the FBI announced an investigation, code-named Operation Varsity Blues, that uncovered a network of wealthy parents who paid thousands of dollars to a college-admissions private counselor to boost their children’s chances of gaining entrance into elite colleges.
