LDA engages in an array of ongoing collaborative partnerships that support the organization’s work on behalf of individuals with learning disabilities.

Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities (CCD)
A coalition of approximately 100 national disability organizations working together to advocate for national public policy that ensures the self determination, independence, empowerment, integration, and inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all aspects of society.
Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA)
Coronavirus is posing unprecedented challenges to public schools around the country. To help ensure the continuity of special education services during remote instruction and to spotlight best practice approaches for schools and educators, an alliance of national education organizations has come together to ensure equity for all learners.
EALA represents a dynamic alliance of non-partisan groups deeply committed to the success of students with disabilities. While advocacy may be an aspect of partners’ work, EALA will not take a position on policy issues.
Educating For American Democracy
Educating for American Democracy’s (EAD) vision is to promote excellence in history and civics for all learners. EAD’s call to action is to invest in strengthening history and civic learning, and to ensure that civic learning opportunities are delivered equitably throughout the country.
EAD’s large network of participants—including teachers, scholars, students, and leaders from private and public sectors—represented viewpoint, professional, and demographic diversity. We charged ourselves with grappling with, rather than avoiding, the complexities of the important subjects under our care.
EmpathED is an online education company using VR, multimedia, and effective empathy to train for diversity, equity inclusion, and accessibility, specifically regarding neurodiversity, disability, and mental health across all organizations.
Healthy Children Project (HCP)
Learning Disabilities Association of America created the Healthy Children Project in 2002 to:
- raise awareness of toxic chemicals that can harm brain development, contributing to learning disabilities and behavior disorders.
- promote policies and provide guidance to prevent toxic chemical exposures, especially among pregnant women and children.
- build a nationwide network of LDA members working to protect children’s health and reduce toxic exposures that may lead to learning disabilities in current and future generations.
The IDEA Partnership is a participatory process that reflects the collaborative work on common interests and issues of more than 50 national organizations, technical assistance providers, and organizations and agencies at the state and local level.
Landmark College is a community designed exclusively for students who learn differently, including students with a learning disability (such as dyslexia), ADHD, autism, or executive function challenges. We champion a strengths-based model for education, giving students the skills and strategies they need to succeed in life.
Learning Disabilities Foundation of America (LDFA)
The Learning Disabilities Foundation of America (LDFA) is a non-profit trust established in 1979. The foundation supports charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes for the accurate identification, ongoing evaluation and complete education of and services for children and adults with learning disabilities within the United States.

A national committee of representatives of organizations committed to the education and welfare of individuals with learning disabilities.
Partners in Promise
Partners in PROMISE is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as a representative voice for Exceptional Military Family Members (EFMP). Partners in PROMISE is led by active duty military spouses, with boots on the ground that give us insights into the complexity of special education. Their team is comprised of Special Education advocates, Special Education attorney, former EFMP staff, educators, researchers and journalists who help to inform and educate our community.
The University of Arizona SALT Center
The SALT Center inspires students with mild to moderate learning and attention challenges to succeed in higher education. Through the provision of comprehensive academic support services, the SALT Center encourages student engagement, self-awareness, and growth.
