Developmental pediatrician, Dr. Eric Tridas, will present a practical way of looking at individuals with learning and behavioral differences while Dr. Alba Ortiz, now Professor Emeritus from the University of Texas-Austin, will seek to unlock the challenge of identifying a language difference or a learning disability in English language learners.

Many more leaders in the field of learning disabilities are preparing to join with parents, individuals with learning disabilities, educators, and other professionals for over 150 informative sessions on topics to include early childhood, instruction, parents and family, adult topics, public policy, mental health, professional development, cultural diversity, assessment, and technology.

Additional conference highlights include the resource-packed Exhibit Hall and Assistive Technology Lab and Bookstore. Everyone will want to put on their cowboy boots and jeans for Tuesday evening’s Texas Hoedown. Deep in the Heart of Texas, bringing the conference attendees together with food, music, and entertainment.
