Sitting at the Meeting Table: How Families and Schools Can Advocate for Children with LD

October 18, 2021 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm EDT

When families have a seat at the IEP/504 meeting table, they can have a powerful voice! This webinar, led by assistant professor of curriculum and instruction Dr. Karen Kohler and high school counselor Amanda Schmitt, will provide resources to help teachers and families advocate for students with LD within the school. The presentation will explore the roles of parents and the school, and will discuss how the two can work together for the common good of the child.

This webinar will be recorded, and a copy of the webinar will be sent out to each registrant.
