Demands Analysis: Looking at Processing and Not Just Scores

Considering cognitive and neuropsychological processing when completing evaluations for SLD can inform both eligibility and interventions. SLD is a neurologically-based disorder, so using a neuropsychological lens when evaluating a student yields important insights. This webinar will introduce Demands Analysis, a way of identifying the processing requirements of cognitive tasks.

Catherine Fiorello, Ph.D. is a professor of School Psychology at Temple University. She is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and holds Board Certification in School Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Fiorello’s area of research specialization is in the area of cognitive and neuropsychological assessment.
